Ozone accessories04
A typical ozone water-treatment system. Hover over or tab to a part to find it in the drawing.
Part / PCB
Printed circuit boards for ozone generators.
Part / ELC
Ozone electrodes: where oxygen becomes ozone inside the generator.
Part / VNT
Engineered venturi injectors that draw ozone into water, with no moving parts.
Part / NRV
Stops water flowing back into the ozone gas line.
Part / PTFE
Ozone-resistant PTFE tubing that carries ozone gas from the generator to the point of use.
Part / DIF
Releases ozone into water as fine bubbles, for tanks and contact columns.
Part / HEPA
High-efficiency particulate filtration for the air that feeds the system.
Part / MIX
Blends ozonated water inline after injection, with no moving parts.
Part / OD
Converts leftover ozone gas back into oxygen before it is released, using a manganese dioxide catalyst.
Buying guide
Ozone has to be carried safely, mixed into water, given time to work, and any leftover gas destroyed before release. Each accessory does one of those jobs.
Questions
Ozone that is not used up in the water leaves as off-gas. A destructor converts it back to oxygen before release, which protects people and equipment.
Both put ozone into water. A venturi injects it into a flowing line; a diffuser releases fine bubbles in a tank or column. The choice depends on your plant layout and contact time.
Yes: electrodes, PCBs and filters, along with servicing for ozone systems and generators.
